Custom over used
The used Raiders were tempting on price and on how fast I could have one, but I went with a build so the Coastal 230 would be set up for how the Cumberland actually gets run instead of somebody else's leftover options.

Decision 02
Size up to Coastal 230
The whole thing started on a 21 Delta, and by mid-February I'd lived in the questions long enough to admit more boat was the call and moved to the Coastal 230, which was about a $30k step for the same option stack.
Decision 03
Honda 350 over twin outboards
Twins were on the table for a while, but Kylo's take was that the 230 doesn't get the same benefit from twins that a longer 250 does, so I went with one big Honda 350 AMD and let the Kraken and the second station handle the slow stuff a kicker would have.
Decision 04
Dealer who answers
Kylo at Selkirk stayed in my inbox the whole way with build sheets and answers on the Ride system and shore power and deposits, and honestly that ended up being part of the decision.
