The Weldcraft and the Duckworth and the used Raiders and everything else in the feed, plus the Coastal 230 I ended up ordering.

Reed Yacht Sales, Hunter Ball
Why we looked
An aluminum fishing platform with a clear build-request process, and it felt like a legit first serious option.
Why not
Kept comparing ride, layout, and long-term fit against Raider. The Selkirk conversation pulled harder once the Delta / Coastal path opened.

Tobler Marina
Why we looked
Another aluminum name in the same class, and worth a real look before I put money down.
Why not
It just didn't win the gut check once the Raider build options and the used inventory were side by side.

Pop Yachts, Paula Bushell (Stockton CA, Vancouver WA, etc.)
Why we looked
Already-built Raiders with Alaskan hardtops and rod holders and electronics, and quicker to get than waiting on a factory slot.
Why not
Used meant somebody else's options and hours I didn't know anything about, and I wanted the Coastal 230 set up for the Cumberland.

Why we looked
A direct build sheet and real back and forth, with room to size up once the Delta started feeling short.

Pop “Daily Boat” and browsing
Why we looked
North River Seahawk 23, Polar Kraft Bay 210, Avid FS21, Stabicraft 659, Crestliner Tournament, Hewescraft Ocean Pro, Lunds and an Edge Marine hard cab, which was basically the noise of shopping.
Why not
Useful for figuring out what I wanted, but none of them replaced a custom Raider for this river.
